Minneapolis, St. Paul and all surrounding suburbs taxi meter rates are the same. Taxi meters are based on time and mileage and the rates are as follows:

$2.50 Flag (initial charge)
$2.35 Per mile
$24.00 Per hour waiting time including time lost in traffic delays.

So it doesn't matter if one takes a taxi from Viking Taxi or any of the surrounding suburbs, the rates remain the same.
